Directed by Valentin Soucours

This movie was made in the context of the director’s diploma in audiovisual direction, in the goal of validating his cursus. The imposed theme was “There is no coincidences, only appointements”, a sentence taken from one of Paul Eluard’s written works.

I was called last-minute to work on this project as a sound supervisor, with limited time and equipement. Gladly, the filming location was quite managable to work with and I had a sound assistant to help with my tasks, though that person did not have any training in audio recording.

Though I make the organisation of this filming sound rough, I did have a pleasant time with the team, who managed to push through the stress with professionnalism and calm to produce this very touching short film.
